Donating to the house - The novice and atom teams with the Bashaw Stars took part in an invitational tourney in Bonnyville recently and donated $500, plus supplies to the Lakeland Friends of RMHCNA and Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Alberta. The tournament was a fun one that brought rewards to the Bashaw folks who attended. Proceeds from the invitational tournament, which saw 24 teams compete, will go the charity. While the full numbers weren’t available at press time, the tournament revenue grossed over $100,000. Photo submitted
