A Camrose man has been charged with manslaughter stemming from an incident last year.
On April 2, the Camrose Police Service arrested the Camrose resident, following an investigation.
On Nov. 11, 2023, the suspect and the victim, who were known to each other, were allegedly involved in a physical altercation.
after the investigation and consultation with the Crown Prosecutor’s Office, the police service proceeded with the manslaughter charge against the accused.
According to the release, the police service is not naming the accused or the victim “in the interest and privacy of the victim’s family.”
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Camrose Court of Justice, however, no date was given.
