The Stettler Trade Show is right around the corner and promises to be “bigger and better” than ever.

According to the Stettler Regional Board of Trade (BOT) executive director Byron Geddes, the three-day event is effectively sold out and promises a full lineup of activities for those in attendance.

“We’re much further along than we were last year,” said Geddes.

“We got an earlier jump.”

As usual, the artisan market will be taking place in The Hub upstairs in the Stettler Recreation Centre (SRC), while the main event will be taking place in the red and blue arenas.

A variety of community groups, including the Coyotes Air Cadets squadron, will be assisting in the running of the event.

“There’s lots of commitment from the community,” said Geddes.

The Think Local/Shop Stettler wind tunnel is back for another year with “at least $1,500” in prizes up for grabs.

For those needing a bite, multiple food vendors will be on site.

Over 120 vendors have been confirmed for the main part of the trade show.

“We haven’t been as full since 2019,” said Geddes.

“The community is excited for it … the vendors are excited to be there.”

Running through the weekend, a variety of entertainment is scheduled over all three days.

Entertainers scheduled include JoJo’s Magic Circus, Harry Hewson, and Travis Dolter, some “solid” acts according to Geddes.

Vendors will set up for the Stettler Trade Show beginning on Friday, April 12 and tear down immediately after the show on Sunday, April 14.

On April 12, the event will be open to the public beginning at 4 p.m. and running to 9 p.m.

April 13, the longest day, the doors will open at 10 a.m. and run until 6 p.m.

The show will conclude on April 14, with doors opening at 11 a.m. and closing at 4 p.m.

Admission for the Stettler Trade Show is $5 for adults and $3 for youth, with $2 entry on Sunday, with a food bank donation.
