Theft and stolen property files keep Bashaw RCMP busy

A shop along Highway 56 near Meeting Creek was broken into recently.

It was reported to police Dec. 8 that several tools were stolen including a cut off saw, heavy socket sets and wrenches. Please contact the Bashaw Detachment with any information.

Bashaw RCMP work with EPS on Ferintosh search

Large equipment was reported stolen to the Edmonton Police Service Dec. 9. Bashaw RCMP working with Edmonton Police Service conducted a Judicially Authorized search of a property in Ferintosh.

The investigation is on-going and charges are pending.

Truck stolen from Mirror

A truck was reported stolen Dec. 11 from a residence near Mirror.

The truck was later recovered by Innisfail RCMP after the truck was burnt and left abandoned.

Abandoned vehicle reported stolen

A male wearing all black was reportedly walking southbound on Highway 21 near Ferintosh around 7 p.m. on Dec. 12.

Police were unable to locate the man, however a stolen vehicle was recovered nearby. The truck was determined to have been stolen from Camrose and was towed.
