The Donalda and District Museum is seeking an individual to fill the position of Museum Manager.

This part-time position requires a person with excellent management, grant writing and leadership skills. The individual would have strong communication skills and the ability to work with the public, volunteers and diverse groups/situations.

The individual must be able to work independently, have an interest in local history, and be self-motivated. To apply drop off your resume along with references to the Museum Office or e-mail it to info@donaldamuseum.com. Resumes can also be mailed to P.O. Box 179, T0B 1H0.

The Donalda Museum will be holding a public meeting on Monday, Oct. 23 at 5 p.m. in the Drop In Centre to discuss the proposed conservation plan of the Donalda Cooperative Creamery.

The Architect will be available to answer any questions that you may have about this upcoming project. Public input is vital in ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard. Everyone is welcome to attend. If you have any questions prior please feel free to contact the Museum at 403-883-2100.

The Battle River Rural Crime Watch is up and running for the Village of Donalda. If interested in becoming a member contact Paul McKay 403-883-2438. There will be monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the hall.
