Back in March 31, 1982 Bashaw Star’s front page featured these involved dignitaries who stepped up and kept the Bashaw and District Chamber of Commerce active. This dedicated group of individuals were celebrated and memorialized in Bashaw Star’s pages. Here’s how the caption explains this photo. Marg Trout was elected by acclamation to head the chamber with Arvid Kellgren acting as vice president. Secretary is Val Rouse, treasurer is Del Thomas with Leo St. Louis, Pat Sutley, Ron Rouse, Ben Reiter, Pat Kellgren, George Darichuk, Trevor Thomas and John Gust as directors.
