The Donalda Library hosted their third annual Gingerbread Village event recently with 16 children and eight adults attending.

The different gingerbread houses that were decorated were pretty spectacular and a great time was had by all. Naomi and family put a lot of time and work into preparing for the event and should be commended for making it such a huge success. The library is closed from Dec. 22 to Jan. 1.

Christmas Eve Service at Sharon Lutheran Church was at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Harold Rust officiating.

Birthday wishes go out to James Sehlstrom, Ryder Blouin, Darlene Dahl, Doris Banzinger, Kelsey Jaksitz, Laura Dahl, Madison Swaren, Christy Ma, Larry Ross, Timothy Swaren and everyone else in the community celebrating this week.

Merry Christmas to all.
