Donalda Diary: Many programs at the Donalda Library available

The Donalda Library has been very busy these past few weeks in organizing multiple events for kids of all ages, and has had a great turnout.

If you are interested in seeing events and programs are upcoming be sure to check them out on Facebook, or call Naomi at 403-883-2345. The Donalda Library is also looking for a copy of the movie Heart of the Sun from 1998, which was filmed locally. If you have copy please let us know.

Looking ahead the Donalda Coulee Friendship Club will be holding their Ham & Turkey Bingo on Nov. 23rd at 7 p.m. at the Drop In Centre. Also, the Drop In is open every Saturday from 1:30 to 4 p.m. for coffee and fellowship. Everyone is welcome!

Donalda Promotions is once again hosting A Village Christmas, which will take place on Sunday, Dec. 3 from Noon to 5:30 p.m. at the Community Hall and Drop In Centre. There will be a hot lunch, markets, children’s market, photos with Santa, and the Parade of Lights. If you are a vendor and are interested please call Beth at 403-741-8196. The Battle River Rural Crime Watch is up and running for the Village of Donalda. If interested in becoming a member cont6act Paul McKay 403-883-2438. There will be monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Hall.
