Every year the Donalda Ag Society recognizes one outstanding volunteer in the community with the Donalda and District Agricultural Society Volunteer Award.

Operation Christmas Child will be held on Nov. 10 at 12:30 p.m. at the Donalda School. The Church will be teaming up with the school to fill operation Christmas Child shoeboxes again this year. All are welcome to come and help kids fill boxes. If you are unable to attend, but would like to donate items, you can drop them off at the school or Church.
Don’t forget to mark down your calendars for A Donalda Village Christmas, which will be taking place on Sunday, Dec. 3 starting at noon with the Country Market at the Community Hall. If you are interested in renting a table please call Beth at 403-741-8196. Santa’s Shopping Centre will take place from noon to 4 p.m at the Drop In Centre. This shopping centre is intended for 14 and under. Santa will be at the Drop In Centre at 4 p.m at the Drop In Centre. Parents are welcome to take pictures. The Parade of Lights starts at 5 p.m., all parade entries welcome, and people are asked to line up at the curling rink parking lot at 4:30 p.m. For more information please call Bruce at 403-883-2943.
The Donalda and District Museum will be holding its first annual Toy Show and Sale on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 at the Donalda Community Hall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vendors are now being accepted and tables must be booked in advance with the Museum at 403-883-2100 or at info@donaldamuseum.com. There will also be a hot concession available all day! Please contact the Donalda Museum for more information.
