Donalda Diary

All the Christmas Elves are busy decorating the evergreen trees on Main Street and the Lamp Park in Donalda, in preparation for The Village Christmas on Sunday, Dec. 3 from noon to 5 p.m.

We hope that everyone comes out to the Christmas Market at the Hall which will have a concession booth operated by the Donalda Library. Of course Santa will make an appearance at the Drop In Santa Shopping Centre at 4 p.m. with treat bags for all the children.

The Donalda Coulee Friendship Club hosted a night of Court Whist on Monday, Nov. 20 with a whopping six tables of players in attendance. It is always an evening of much laughter and fun. The next Court Whist will be the third Monday in January. If you would like to attend in the future contact Marlene at 403-883-2381.

An open invitation goes out to all the Donalda Community volunteers to attend an appreciation Dinner on Wednesday, November 29 at 6:00 p.m. at the Donalda Drop In. The dinner is funded by FCSS and is catered by MaD Catering.

Birthday wishes go out to Beth Crumly, Jessie Broemeling, Kathy Willis, Dan Hiller, Trevor Mueller, Remy Capanasm, Spence Andres, Brianna Mueller, Logan Erickson and Donna Broemeling and anyone else celebrating this week. Happy Birthday.
