Flu immunization clinics on the way to Stettler

Alberta Health Services (AHS) will begin holding flu immunization clinics across the province beginning in November.

The travelling clinic will be coming to the Stettler Community Health Centre on Nov. 16, and Dec. 14, 2022.

Varying times on these dates will be available for appointments, with the target group being children under five-years-old and their immediate household members.

Others eligible for immunization through these clinics are those without a provincial health care number or in otherwise high-risk groups without access to immunizations through regular health-care providers.

Access to these clinics will be by appointment only.

All Albertans, six months of age or older, are eligible for their flu shot, at no charge, through participating pharmacies and physicians offices.

AHS encourages individuals to ask about getting a COVID booster at the same time as their flu shot.

Albertans wishing to learn more about influenza vaccination, or book their immunization, can find out more at AHS.ca/vaccine.
