On Sept. 9th the Bashaw Multi 4-H Club hosted our annual horse show.

Competitors came from many parts of Alberta to compete in our horse show that had a total of 56 events. The venue was changed to Donalda this year to avoid the challenge of weather issues and to take advantage of the wonderful facilities there.

The day was filled with lots of fun and learning for the competitors and the 4-H members working the event. Terri Larsgard of Rimbey judged the show and offered a great deal of advice and many helpful comments to all of the competitors throughout the day.

Sam Stewart was so helpful and volunteered her time for the day to act as ring-person. Numerous members and parents within the club filled the many jobs required to make our show run smoothly.

Aside from many of the members filling important roles on the operations side, we also had many on the competitor side. All of our members had a good show and represented our club well. We even were excited to have some in the high point placings at the end of the day.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the sponsors from the Town of Bashaw and surrounding area that support us and help make our show a success. Your generosity each year is appreciated so very much.

The list of sponsors in our program was so impressive. Our announcer for the day, Tessa Morrison, took every opportunity she had throughout the day to acknowledge and give credit to these many businesses and individuals.
