The steer wrestler completed his comeback from injury with a typical ‘Curtis Cassidy’ performance.
The 12-time Canadian Champion (2001 TDR Champ, two-time SW Champion and nine-time High Point) was a rapid 3.6 in the steer wrestling to earn top honours and a $2,416 cheque, according to a press release.
The win will move him into the top 12 in the Canadian standings.
Close behind him was Matt Richardson, with a 4.0 earning him $2,101 and second place, followed by Joe Guze, with a time of 4.6, a cheque for $1,786 and third place.
