Luckily no one was injured in an armed robbery at the Millet Fas Gas.

Wetaskiwin RCMP say two male suspects entered the gas station store just before noon on Nov. 28. Police say the men came into Fas Gas and brandished a sawed-off shot gun demanding money.

The suspects took off with cigarettes, lottery tickets, lighters, chocolate and an undisclosed amount of cash. They are described as being Caucasian and both over six feet tall with no facial hair.

The first suspect is said to be wearing glasses and was wearing a black toque with a grey hoodie, which was under a black hoodie or jacket, and wearing dark coloured pants.

The second suspect is described as wearing a dark brown Carhartt jacket with the hood up, slim legged black track pants with a white stripe down the side, and all black sneakers.

Police say the two men left on foot heading west. A witness described the two suspects leaving the area in two separate vehicles.

One vehicle was a white, newer model SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango or Dodge Journey. The back window of this vehicle was smashed out. This vehicle was seen leaving southbound from the area.

The second vehicle was a new, white, Hyundai Elantra with an Alberta licence plate BSN 4694, which had been stolen from a vehicle in Edmonton. This vehicle left westbound on Highway 616 from the area.

No one was injured during this confrontation.

Police searched the area extensively for the suspects. This matter is still under investigation.
