25 new cases Tuesday in Alberta, provincial total at 1,373

Alberta confirmed 25 new cases Tuesday afternoon, bringing the provincial total to 1,373.

The province reported two additional deaths Tuesday in the Calgary zone: a man in his 90s and another in his 60s.

Central zone numbers remained the same in the last 24 hours at 66 (five percent).

Highest numbers continue to be in the Calgary zone at 835 (61 per cent), followed by Edmonton zone at 358 (26 per cent).

The north and south zones are at 90 (seven per cent) and 22 (two per cent) respectively.

The number of COVID-19 related deaths in the province is at 26.

There are two COVID-19 cases in the province, listed on the government’s website, with zone unknown.

Case numbers in City of Red Deer is at 26 with 12 active and 14 recovered cases.

Red Deer County has 12 cases: 10 active and two recovered.

City of Lacombe has two recovered cases.

County of Lacombe has four cases: one active and three recovered, while Ponoka County has one recovered case.

Recovered cases in the province reached 447 Tuesday, while number of completed tests is at 67,117.

Premier Jason Kenney will present pandemic modelling data Tuesday evening.
