The Bashaw and District Chamber of Commerce now has a full executive after their monthly meeting in May.

On May 18, Stacey Trombley, the owner of the Meeting Place, was appointed as president. She is joined by vice president Carlos Siguenza, secretary Peter Graham and treasurer Cindy Orom.

Orom is looking for someone else to take over the treasurer position. There are also eight empty director positions left to fill.

A new revitalization committee was set up to look at how the chamber can revitalize Bashaw. If you’re interested in sitting on the committee, email bashawcc@gmail.com.

After a successful first event in 2021, the chamber will again be putting on Hometown Days, with tentative dates set for August 26 to 28. More details are to come at the next meeting

New members are Chris Burt from Fortis Alberta and Ty Wilson from Ramstad Realty.
