The Bashaw Loyal Order of Royal Purple is a group of ladies that volunteer to raise funds to donate to the community.

In 2021, the Royal Purple donated $6,500 to 11 different local club. A few of the organizations they donated to last year include the library, Community Centre Board, Bashaw and District Support Services and the Bus Society.

The Royal Purple began in 1954 in the old hall that is now the fitness gym. They used the school gym while the Community Centre was built in 1979. There has been two big updates and the Royal Purple has been there volunteering and helping out financially.

“We are still supporting the community centre,” said Royal Purple secretary Suzanne Ramstad. “It is our home.”
