Bashaw town council candidate Bradley Carlson

My name is Bradley Carlson. I am a power engineer that has called Bashaw home for most of my life. Me and my family have been involved in many different parts of the community and enjoy living our lives in this great small community, so I thought it was a good time for me to get involved in council.

My name is Bradley Carlson. I am a power engineer that has called Bashaw home for most of my life. Me and my family have been involved in many different parts of the community and enjoy living our lives in this great small community, so I thought it was a good time for me to get involved in council.

I feel that with my experience with emergency services on the Bashaw fire department and my industrial fire training, I can help support our first responders by utilizing the support the town can offer. With my industrial experience I understand how the town needs to support the businesses to make sure they are successful and provide a valuable contribution to our town and our town’s people.

This is my first time running for public office. I want to be involved in making Bashaw a more affordable place to live and attracting new people to our town. I also would like to help the town’s people have a voice in making some of the bigger decisions in what happens in the town.

I think the main issues currently with Bashaw are the cost of utilities and taxes for the town of our size. I think we can look at using our wells and the Highway 21 water lines to our advantage in order to get the best options for our town while making it more affordable.

Another important item is that we need to support our emergency responders to ensure they have the best training and tools available to their full capacity to help us in our community and keeping it safe.

Well as well as focusing on growth for our community by offering incentives for growth and expansion and looking at different ways for the town to be self-sustaining without continual cost increases for its citizens.

I think Bashaw is a great place to grow up, live and do business in. I would be honored to have the opportunity to represent the people of this great community and help make it a better place to live.
