Camrose County, which includes Bashaw, has been determined to require enhanced measures by Alberta Health based on the number of active COVID-19 cases.

Alberta Health has determined watch list zones through identifying areas that have at least 10 active cases and a rate of over 50 actives cases per 100,000 population.

As of Nov. 20, Camrose County had 14 actives cases and an active case rate (per 100,000 population) of 162.2, and the City of Camrose had 31 cases and an active case rate of 143.9. Therefore, both areas are above the threshold to be placed on the watch list.
