Coronation RCMP asking public’s help in two break and enters, thefts

Coronation RCMP are asking the public’s help in two separate break-ins and thefts in Castor and Coronation.

According to Const. Olivier Desy-Marion, at about 2:20 a.m. Dec. 22 in Castor, someone gained access to an unattended utility trailer by cutting the locks off the trailer’s rear door.

The suspect then stole various construction tools including: Bostitch 650 Siding Stapler, Bostitch 650 Stapler, Bostitch Framing Nailer, Bostitch Strapshot, Bostitch Brad Nailer and Stapler, Dewalt Compressor, Pasload Stapler and Siding Stapler, 8’ Extension Level and 12’ Step Ladder.

That same morning at about 2:40 a.m. someone accessed a storage unit at the Coronation UFA by cutting the locks to the main door of the storage unit. The suspect then stole multiple motor vehicle oil containers from inside the storage unit. The following items were stolen from the storage unit: six pails of Shell 18.9L 5W40, two pails of Shell 18.9L 15W40 and 12 jugs of Shell 5L 5W40.

Coronation RCMP believe the incidents may be related with a possible suspect vehicle described as a newer model red Ford pick-up truck.

Police ask anyone who may have information regarding these incidents to contact Coronation RCMP at 403-578-3666.
