Final 2021 municipal election candidates for Bashaw area

Nominations for the 2021 municipal election closed on Sept. 21.

The confirmed candidates for the Town of Bashaw, Camrose County, and Battle River School Board are as follows:

Town of Bashaw

Residents will vote for six councillors. Rob McDonald is acclaimed as mayor. Candidates for town council are:

Shelley Boileau, Bradley Carlson, Bryan Gust, Michelle Innes, Thomas Lonsdale, Kyle McIntosh, Jackie Northey, Cindy Orom, Carlos Siguenza and Robyn Walker.

Camrose County

There are seven electoral divisions in Camrose County.

The candidates are:

- Division 1 - Carl Craig Bergstrom, Karen Ruth Forster, Kassandra Spruyt.

- Division 2 - Cindy Trautman - acclaimed.

- Division 3 - Ernie Bertschi, Lynne Jenkinson, Tina Sroka, Corey Szott.

- Division 4 - Angie Debogorski, Bernadette (Bernie) Masson, Don Simpson.

- Division 5- Robert Ellsowrth Lee, Carlene Wetthuhn, Brian Willoughby.

- Division 6 - Jordon Banack, Kael Crichton, Joel Hein.

- Division 7 - John Girvan, Douglas Lyseng.

Battle River School Division

There are five trustee positions.

Patrick McFeely and Doug Algar are running for Ward 1 (City of Camrose).

In Ward 2 (Beaver County), Zsuzsanna Hemperger and Brett Huculak are running.

Karen Belich is acclaimed in Ward 3 (Camrose County).
