A Bashaw resident thanked the town for the recent cemetery clean-up.

In a letter to council and administration, resident Irene Jarvis said the clean-up is a source of pride for the community.

“I am not able to take part in the clean-up so am grateful for others to do my part,” said Jarvis.

“The trees being removed along the west side improves the look so much.”

She added that recently out of town folks attended the cemetery and they commented on how well kept the property looks.

Jarvis did mention that there is a book which helps people locate where their loved ones are buried. She asked if there is a way to put up a sign as to where the book is located.

“Once again, thanks for a job well done,” she concluded.
