Pickup ends up in river near Ponoka

Emergency crews attended the scene where a pickup went off the QE2

Police are investigating why a pickup ended up in the Battle River near Ponoka.

Members of the Ponoka Integrated Traffic Unit were called to the scene on the QE 2 near Ponoka Tuesday. Officers confirm that the yellow pick up was northbound on the highway when it went into the river.

There were no injuries.
