With Christmas just around the corner, it brings on the annual Bashaw Christmas Bucks program.
According to a release, this past year has continued to bring about new and different challenges for every business.
“We continue to support businesses in creative ways. Historically, we feel Bashaw Bucks works well to support our local businesses by encouraging people to shop local.”
Last year, 19 businesses took part and paid out a total of good cash to local customers that went back into the community.
“Bashaw Bucks will run from Nov. 15 to Dec. 22 with six weekly $100 draws on Nov. 19, 26, Dec. 3, 10, 17 and 22 plus an additional draw for $200 on Dec. 22.
If you are a chamber member, the cost to take part is $80.
“If you have not yet joined, the cost is $100 to participate. Your business will be advertised on the posters that will be hung in participating businesses and local advertising boards around Bashaw, and will be posted on the chamber website and Facebook page.”

Cheques can be made payable to the Bashaw and District Chamber of Commerce and dropped off at Bashaw Farm and Building Supplies or the town office.
