The Town of Bashaw provided an update on Nov. 27 regarding its facilities during the current COVID-19 restrictions.
The town office continues to be operational and open to the public.
Mask use is recommended and council encourages residents to wear masks in public throughout the community.
The town continues to be available for questions and concerns by phone and electronic means.
Public works and administrative functions are continuing. Additional sanitization and distancing are being implemented.
If you’re feeling unwell, the town asks you to please avoid visiting the town office.
The Bashaw Arena will be closed from Nov. 27 to Dec. 14. The situation will be reviewed around Dec. 14, 2020 to re-evaluate operations based on provincial health recommendations.
The Community Hall will be closed for social gatherings. Funerals and weddings are subject to Alberta Health guidelines.
The town continues to work closely with Bashaw and District Support Services for other supportive resources as they become aware of necessities.
The Dec. 10 town council meeting is anticipated to be accessible by Zoom.
The office continues to be open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and closed for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
