On February 14th, 2018 at 7:13 pm Wetaskiwin RCMP attended a call for service where an unknown male attempted to rob a man who was clearing snow on his property.
At Township 474 and Range Road 243 a male victim was out on his property with his snow blower pack. He was approached by an unknown suspect who had a knife in his hand and wanted his snow blower. The victim defended himself using the snow-blower knocking the knife back into the truck. The suspect fled the scene.
The male is described as:
• 140-160 pounds
• 5’8”
• Native male
• Wearing a fur hat
The vehicle the suspect was wearing was:
• Green GMC Sierra
• Older model with a square body
• Front windshield is cracked at the height of the driver, across the windshield - consistent with a bat being hit against the window
The victim was not injured in the incident.
