It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Viola Read "Gramma Read" announces her passing on Thursday, September 17th, 2020, after a brief illness. She was known for being a hard-working woman who spent her life farming God's ground. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her son Clarence; daughter-in-law Alice; siblings Lawrence, Ken, and Ilene; grandchildren Darryl (Rachel), Charryl, Chelsey (Will), Allan, Deanna (Travis), and Daniel (Soniya); great- grandchildren Dustin (Tana), Stephanie (Trent), Duaine (Shan), Isabelle, Alyssa, Zander, Zachary, Hannah, Kate, Kenzie, and Joshua; and great-great-grandchildren Briley, Harlynd, Jaysmlee, Lucas, Isaac, Colby and Blake. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Vernon; son Duaine; great-grandson Dylan; and siblings Bonnie, Bessie, Thelma, Dora, Edgar, and John. A Funeral Service in memory of Margaret was held on Thursday, September 24th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Robin King officiating followed by the Interment Service at the Bashaw Cemetery.
