Bashaw’s Sugar Plum Christmas Ball made wishes come true

Bashaw’s Sugar Plum Christmas Ball was a sweet treat for all who attended.

Bashaw’s Sugar Plum Christmas Ball was a sweet treat for all who attended.

Held at the Bashaw Community Centre on Dec. 3, the event included activities and dancing for children from 6 to 9 p.m., and an adult and youth dance from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

For the kids, there was a cookie station — complete with white milk, chocolate and strawberry flavoured milk — as well as glitter tattoos and photos with Santa. There was a silent auction throughout the night.

The ball was hosted by Rising Spirit Ministry. Attendees either purchased a ticket or had a “Fairy Godmother” buy one for them or their family.
