The Bashaw Junior Invitational was a great tournament where everyone had lots of fun.

Teams came from Donalda, Forestburg, Alix and Bashaw School’s own Rebels, (two junior girl teams), compete. It was a great turn out of students, coaches, and spectators that had the building full of great energy all day long.

On the boys side, the Forestburg Falcons took home the gold medal and Alix Mustangs took home silver. On the girls side, Alix Mustangs took home the gold medal and Donalda Eagles took home silver.

Alix showed up and played their best. The girls final game was very close right into the third set. While our Rebel teams did not take home any hardware, they played well and did a great job in representing Bashaw School.

The invitational junior volleyball tournament at Bashaw School on Oct. 20 proved a fun experience for everyone. Here, one of the two junior girls teams plays against the Alix Mustangs, the eventual tournament winners. Photo submitted
