Long ball - This leaping effort wasn’t near enough to stop a home run in one of the C-event games on June 3 in the annual Bashaw Slo-Pitch tournament at the Bashaw ball diamonds. The tournament, which ran June 2 to 4, saw everyone enjoy the great sunshine and some fun on and off the diamond. Final results of the tournament were unavailable at press time. Too hot to handle - A strong infield hit left this player struggling to get a grip on the ball and wasn’t able to get an out on the play during this C-event game June 3 at the annual Bashaw Slo-Pitch tournament at the Bashaw ball diamonds.
