Pound’em til it hurts - The Bashaw Community Centre hosted the annual minor hockey comedy fundraiser on Apr. 6 with a pair of Newfoundland comics Mike Lynch (above) and headliner Lisa Baker (below) simply killing the packed house with body shot jokes that left people in stitches all night. The two transplanted Albertans were joined by fellow comic Steve McGovern, who also played host for the evening. The event also had numerous pieces of hockey memorabilia up for auction - including McDavid items and an autographed Iginla jersey - as well as other packages of donations from local businesses.
